I'm looking for really long prog songs I'm talking 30 mins + on albums pre -1980. Does one even exist? |

thats pretty hard to accomplish given the LP format limits the length to about 30 minutes, and the audio quality is really limited towards the end due to increased rotation speed. I really doubt it exists

| Karn Evil 9 gets close, and Thick As a Brick is split in two 20 something minute songs so I don't think it counts.. other than that yeah The Ikon, but most of the really long epics are from the 90's and 00's. |

I think the biggest problem with his music is the fact that a vast majority of his songs are between 20-30 minutes, I can't ever do marathons of his music because listening to like 10 songs in 4 hours gets pretty tedious fast.  -------------
