3 "me's", these are the avatars I use/d for the longest period, the most "famous" ones I've use/d. As you see, in the selection of avatars, I always liked to choose a image/album which had a face or something that represent one, mainly because I "think" avatars of this type(album faces) make me "believe" these are the faces of the guy talking to me. Just like Micky, or the one with Quella Di.... avatar, also Dean's, El Bothy's, Crimson 87's, others....
Well, somewhat confusing that. Here you choose which of these "faces" you think suited better with my "persona" here in the forum.
Yeah, I know, weird poll

...interesting Pablo.
When you first joined you were all ears - eager to hear everything about Prog.
Later you became reflective - thinking about whatever you played
Now you are a just cool dude with a droopy moustache.

Wow! That's a very interesting description of me, specially taking account how I "evolved", I feel nostalgia of my early days as a completely newcommer, purely innocent of any mistake I committed
Seriously, Dean, thank you for that reflection of me of my "past", glad to remember it!

I think you need to develop some original artwork of yourself for your avatar, maybe even fuse those three together somehow...

Yeah, that would be cool, no doubt. But I don't have Photoshop, and not even Paint!! lol, I'm ashamed for not having it

Mine was done with Corel Photopaint. I started with a cartoon image that came with an American Greetings software program and altered it to resemble myself. The hair and beard are "cloned" from an actual picture of of me.

Damn dude-
This makes me remember how Mike had that Grace Under Pressure avatar, and David had Akerfeldt, and how Raff I think had a damned cat or something (or did I just dream that?)...
I'd almost forgotten about your Meddle cover though.
I think avatars are things that grow on you over time. When someone changes their avatar, I also tear my clothes and sit in sackcloth and ashes and all that...it's a traumatic experience.
I will always be Skeletor.

Ah, man you hit the nail in the head with that observation! And yes, Raff had a cat as a avatar, you were not drunk
I mean, then, when you see a real picture from the guy with that "mask"(faced-avatar), you get in some real shock, and it's really unbelievable for me sometimes. When I saw you, I really wouldn't have imagined you liek that at all, mainly because of your dark-shaded avatar, of course my mind might take "too serious" avatars that really thinks you're skeletor, lol

Also, as I get older, my avatar will start getting younger.
I'm kind of getting a vision of the combo avatar though. Start with your latest one, tack on the guitar one at the bottom and fill in the guy's white face with some kind of pattern of the first one.

I prefer the middle one because that's the first one I was introduced to. It's going to be weird as people change their avatars over time. A few ones that come to mind are you, Raff, Crimhead, Crimson87, and Negoba. Even though I've only been here a few months, these changes already frighten me.

^sounds easy from reading it, but doing it, haha....
You should make it for me!
However, I will probably change it whenever I become a SC

Glad I'm not the only one with mind problems when someone changes their "representative" avatar.
Also, glad you liked the Ashra avatar, I really liked it too, also love the album, you should check it out, if you haven't heard anything from Krautrock, yet.

I'm actually going to make a dry run at it for you. Combining the last two are easy enough. Doing the final bit will take a little more time. Give me a few minutes, this will be fun.

I listened to the debut from Neu! and was bored out of my skull for most of the album. Krautrock is close to the bottom of things I'd like to explore further.

I've always gone for avatars that just show my eyes (or to be more accurate, just one of them), this was my previous:
but I thought it looked too menacing and was perhaps scaring people off, so I changed it to my current one.

"scaring people off" Though, seriously, it does And let's better not talk about the one of Jody, that Anaking scares the sh*t out of me, even though I might have seen SW 2 like a hundred times

I haven't heard Neu!, neither any other "famous" Krautrock band. But from the samples I've heard, they sound nothing like Ashra. Of course it's no way "in your face Prog", don't expect drums, either rock-structure. But for a little bit of change, and being a quite nice one, Blackouts just makes a perfect sleep/nap.

I like pretending like I'm talking to Jon Lord (because the 'real' Jon Lord won't talk to me on myspace because he wouldn't accept my band as a friend, grrr).
Besides Windows is a cool album, rock on Cacho!

Good thing I wasn't drinking anything when you made the switch because it would have spewed right out my nose. Now I'm a little ashamed I didn't do a better job. I really was wanting to have the whiteness of the face filled out with meddles, but maybe that works better.

By the way this was finally done with Corel Draw so all the elements are still changeable. I kind of like the guitar flipped like the last one even if I were to keep less meddles in the face. I also like having a meddle as a sort of Frank Zappa goatee for the face. But I've done enough meddling for one night and am honored you adopted it however long you may want to keep it.

I have no problem with Windows as an album but the cover bugs me for some reason. Not a fan of the picture style or the clutter of words all over the place. Pretty cheesy cover all and all, but this is just my opinion.
