Well, I think Ms. Clarkson takes the prize for this seasons worst performance (not counting Kanye West, since that is barely music) from Taylor Swift. The song sounded straight out of the eighties, and even though there was about eight people on stage (maybe more) it sounded like it was about three. What were all the other musicians doing? They added NOTHING. And that lyric, "But life would suck without you." Kelly needs to fire her writer, unless she wrote that God awful song.

I know there isn't many (if any) Clarkson fans on here, but if you are like me you can at least appreciate other bands, even corporate created ones. Some of her songs before were good, and she has (or had) a good voice. She sounded horrible tonight.

I was never a huge fan, but her previous work was at least listenable. This was pure garbage.

I'm pretty sure I made it clear what I expected. I described how I thought her previous work wasn't bad, and how she was a good singer. I was expecting a song that was good for what it was, and it was just horrible.

And I wasn't looking for sympathy. Just wondering if anyone else saw it and thought it was as bad as I did.

Whenever I'm forced to look at programs like that I find myself wondering about what a shame it is that great natural singing talent goes to waste on such abysmal singing material.

I'd definitely tap Kelly Clarkson.
That's all that matters.

You wouldn't do it on SNL, off-topic.

Those two songs on SNL were not her best, that's for sure. I will admit that I like plenty of her older stuff along with a bunch of other mindless pop songs. As for worst musical performance on SNL this season, I can't really comment because I never watch the musical act.

I agree; however, because of American Idol my eyes get to dance over ...
