Anyone out there going to the Stackridge gig at the Rydal Arms, Station Road, New Milton, Hampshire on 4th April?

If so, I'll see you there - their classic prog-influenced instrumental epics God Speed The Plough and Purple Spaceships Over Yatton are currently gracing the set, plus a good selection of the band's back catalogue, including their anthem Lummy Days plus a dusting of numbers previewing the forthcoming album A Victory For Common Sense.

These include the riff-driven Red Squirrel, the psychedelic-tinged Long Dark River and the Beatlesque, Seek And Ye Shall Find - all rich in promise for the first Stackridge album release since the wonderful Sex & Flags in 2005 (if you haven't got it, you should have).

Thrash on, Brothers of the Rhubarb...
