I'm aware this is somewhat old but it still amazes me.
If you see her turning clockwise you are right-brained. If she turns counter-clockwise you are left-brained. If she does both at the same time then you are lying and I ask you to leave.

Mainly clockwise - I can make her go either way just by concentrating on the raised leg and deciding which way it's going - HOWEVER the shadow is wrong for anti-clockwise

I see it only clockwise. However this test gives relevant information about my brain and the way it works. The thing is that I can hardly concentrate at something other than the lady's breasts.

I always thought that the erect nipple was a nice touch.
Clockwise normally but you can force yourself to see it both ways if you try hard enough.

Counter-clockwise. In a flash I thought that she was spining clockwise, but it was easy to correct myself.
But it depends on the direction in which the clock turns. I have seen clocks turning in both directions.
When I say 'counter-clockwise' I mean that when it is 12 o'clock, the pointer is moving to the right.

You should never turn a clock in the wrong direction, it's bad for the machinery.

If the clock is transparent it depends on which side you stand on.

It was in a local pub. Behind the bar was a mirror. On the opposite wall was this clock, which was meant to be viewed through the mirror.

I have a slight confession to make...
The two images in the stereo pair are not the same, the first one is spinning anticlockwise:
...of course this anticlockwise image can give the illusion of spinning clockwise (easier if you obscure the shadow)

strange thing about the 5 images Doc posted is that the shadow is different than in all the other images posted-- here the shadow of her extended foot arcs from right to left across the bottom, but in the others the foot shadow arcs from left to right

Damn. Here I was going to tell him that I had special magical powers able to reverse the animation of the shadows.
Anyway, I see it both ways. Sometimes she spins clockwise, then I look away for a bit, come back and she's spinning counter-clockwise, then I look away, come back and she's doing handstands. Anyone else notice the handstands?

I just split it into frames, looks clearly like a counter clockwise rotation around an axis. The fact that the figure is 3d but entirely black is what's confusing everyone.

^ Ha - spot-on Ansen, I completely missed the fact the image is back-lit (kind of shoots down the theory that right-brained people would see the image rotating clockwise - artisiticly inclined people should interpret the light-direction and shadow angles correctly, so see the image rotating anticlockwise)

I still haven't fathomed the trick that this thing is playing me. When I entered this thread for the first time,I could swear that this woman spinned just counter-clockwise, but after I voted I saw her spinning clockwise more often. Splitting up the animation didn't give me a clue either: the loose images are definitely arranged in a clockwise order and the interval between the images is always 30 milliseconds, so the woman should perform one full circle in nearly one second.
Maybe it's a combination of the actual speed of the spinning on the PC in combination with the retardation that occurs in the processing of visual perception. Or maybe it's just one of my mental disorders popping up at unawares...

The fact is... No matter how closely I study it, No matter how I take it apart, No matter how I break it down, It remains consistant.
But seriously that img is freaky.
