Well, it's a matter which should be taken seriously. His album "The Stranger" is some sort of concept album. "Goodnight Saigon" is actually a prog epic. He should be in PA!
Now what was your first reaction when you read this?
 Good composer, Billy Joel. Great talent. Not prog of course. My first reaction when I opened the thread: someone is cracking a joke.

He's about as proggy as Elton John (maybe more?). I'm thinking of stuff like Scenes from an Italian Restaurant, Streetlife Serenader, and Scandinavian Skies. Maybe The Entertainer and Captain Jack? He doesn't belong here, but I think a lot of his music is great, particularly The Stranger and Nylon Curtain albums. |

He wanted to come visit us the other night but we said no 'cos he wanted to bring his own piano and we've only got a very small house.

You know, standing on one leg really takes up less space than sitting. Especially when age has left its cruel deposits upon ones buttocks. You could really just place Ian in the corner.
