I am looking to get a Record Clamp to use on my turntable after reading some of the claims these improve the sound of vinyl. Does anyone have experience with record clamps and an opinion on whether or not I should spend around $100.00 AUD to get one landed in Australia Question

This link shows the kind of thing I am looking at...

As a rule i wouldn't use a record clamp unless your turntable has been designed to include one, and only use the one the manufacturer recommends.
The best upgrade any turntable can have is a firm base to sit on such as a wall mounted shelf, therefore isolating it from all kinds of interference, makes a big  improvement.Smile

which turntable do you have?

I have a Rega P1, and I have been looking at the Michell Engineering clamp that is specifically made for Rega turntables.

The turntable sits on a reasonably solid cabinet, though I can appreciate the value of setting up a wall-mounted shelf.
