Hey guys. Not sure if I posted this in the right place or not, but I happened to stumble across this site and saw that the prog rock band that I play for, Lobster Newberg, had been discussed here quite a bit in the past. After poking around a little more, I decided to join because this site is incredibly awesome! Prog discussion? Sweet!

Anyways, for those of you interested, I play with Lobster Newberg, and we have a brand new album coming out next month called Actress. If you'd like to check out some of the tunes, you can hear them on our http://www.myspace.com/lobsternewberg - Myspace page .

Either way, thanks. I look forward to discussing more prog with everyone!

Welcome! You should have posted this on Welcome Newbies thread or something of the sort, but nevermind this time.

Don't know your band, gonna listen right now. Yeah, it's a lot of fun here, be sure to check the latest hot topics, those are whole lotta fun.

Listened to your samples. Nice. Happy, good feel to them. Good compositions. Good work on the cover version- hard to give a progressive twist to such a straight forward pop song. Liked Paradox best.

Don't worry too much about Cacho's post. You are an actual player in a prog band- what better place to intrduce yourself and some samples. Wish you and your band all the best for the future.

Haha wow thanks guys! So sorry for posting in the wrong thread.

Yes, we had some lineup changes. Colin is the only remaining original member. We still perform a couple of tunes off of Vernal Equinox, but we've mostly been playing tunes from the new record due out in January, and a bunch of new songs that we're already putting together for the 3rd record.

Although we only have a couple of tunes from the new album up, we're currently in the mastering process of the record, so soon we'll have more posted, with better quality.

Anyways, I really appreciate the warm welcome from everyone. I look forward to posting, and I hope to see some of you out on our tour!
