I have the MicroKorg Synthesizer and am trying to use a separate mic for the vocoder but no matter what I do I can't get it to work..I am using a basic drum overhead mic and can't get it to work...I have looked into the manual which doesnt seem to help me fix this issue...I was playing around with the controls which I hoped would help but haven't...Anybody know anything about this???

I know nothing about the MicroKorg but if you are trying to enable an external device (mic in this case) perhaps it needs to be enabled in the Korg OS, e.g., some midi channel opened or whatever.

Edited to add:  does the Micro have an internal (i.e., attached) mic?  Maybe you have to disable that in the OS to enable an external mic?

Hey, thanks for the advice, just last night I figured it out...I was trying to use a drum overhead mic, and then I tried a regular drum mic for my toms and that one worked out fine...not sure why this was, I didnt think that the overhead mic was any different than the tom mic...thanks though...
