Just saw the San Diego show on Saturday and I can't tell you how fun this show was. There were so many visual effects it is hard to remember them all but the stage and lighting was nothing short of spectacular. Lasers, Fire, Indoor Fireworks, Risers from/to the ceiling and great stage and most important of all fantastic musicians and singers playing some beefed up Christmas carols, famous classical themes and some of their own blues based rock. Very ambitious, pretentious and just a whole lotta of fun. We took Stacy's two daughters 11 and 8 and they had a blast. This was their first concert and we may have spoiled them for future more toned down shows. They played 3 hours as well. Here is the set list as best i can determine it:
A Night Enchanted/March Of The Kings Prolougue An Angel Came Down O'Come All Ye Faithful/O Holy Night Prince Of Peace First Snow A Russians Christmas Christmas Eve (Sarajevo 12/24) Good King Joy Ornament Old City Bar Promises To Keep This Christmas Day An Angel Returned Epilogue Band Introductions Wizards In Winter Queen of the Winter Night Prelude To Madness Believe A Last Illusion Siberian Sleigh Ride An Angel's Share Drum Solo Tracers Mozart/Figaro Christmas Canon Rock Carmina Burana (O Fortuna) Beethoven
Piano Duel Requiem (The Fifth) Wish Liszt Christmas Eve (Sarajevo 12/24) (Yes it was played twice this one was extended a bit too)
If you are looking for a fun show you can bring the whole family too this is it. While not really a prog show this is much more like Rock Theater the music is still adventuruous and tight. They still have over a months worth of shows left for this year. There are two bands divided East and West. I saw the west band.
