He's good for a 17 year old, but honestly he doesn't really bring anything to the table except typical fast rolls and tricks that have been used by every "flashy" drummer since who knows when.   He needs to find his own style instead of just being another bbbbbbdddbbdbdbdbdb bpoodddd bbillbddddaaa ba doom dododododododo bboooooo kind of guy.  Taste + chops = far better.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPncumXZExo - Tony Royster Jr.'s solo when he was 12 is much more interesting than this other new kid.   They were similar in a way aside from age.  However, Royster actually was more developed in that he showed he could be tasteful and stylish in his own way.  He was flashy, dynamic, and had a groove in his big solo.
