1. Robert Trujillo does not play bass on St. Anger. Producer Bob Rock played the bass tracks for that album. Trujillo played bass on the limited edition bonus dvd, which has them playing the same songs in the same order live in studio, so that dvd could be added there as well. Bob Rock on the album, Trujillo on the bonus dvd.

2. Cliff Burton died a couple of years before Live sh*t was recorded, so he could not take part on the album. Jason Newsted was Metallica's bassist and backing vocalist at the time (Kirk Hammett provided some backing vocals as well). The track listing for Live sh*t is pretty messed up too and lacking over a half of the box set's material. Here's a better one:

CD1 (Sports Palace, Mexico City, Mexico, February 25, 26, 27, and March 1, 2, 1993):

1. The Ecstasy of Gold / Enter Sandman (7:28)
2. Creeping Death (7:28)
3. Harvester of Sorrow (7:19)
4. Welcome Home (Sanitarium) (6:39)
5. Sad But True (6:07)
6. Of Wolf and Man (6:22)
7. The Unforgiven (6:48)
8. Justice Medley (Eye of the Beholder / Blackened / The Frayed Ends of Sanity / ...And Justice for All / Blackened) (9:38)
9. Solos (Bass and Guitar) (18:49)

Total Time: 76:35

CD2 (Sports Palace, Mexico City, Mexico, February 25, 26, 27, and March 1, 2, 1993):

1. Through the Never (3:47)
2. For Whom the Bell Tolls (5:48)
3. Fade to Black (7:12)
4. Master of Puppets (4:35)
5. Seek & Destroy (18:08)
6. Whiplash (5:34)

Total Time: 45:02

CD3 (Sports Palace, Mexico City, Mexico, February 25, 26, 27, and March 1, 2, 1993):

1. Nothing Else Matters (6:22)
2. Wherever I May Roam (6:33)
3. Am I Evil? (Diamond Head cover) (5:42)
4. Last Caress (The Misfits cover) (1:25)
5. One (10:27)
6. So What (Anti-Nowhere League cover) / Battery (10:05)
7. The Four Horsemen (6:08)
8. Motorbreath (3:14)
9. Stone Cold Crazy (Queen cover) (5:32)

Total Time: 55:22

DVD1 (San Diego Sports Arena, San Diego, CA, January 13 and 14, 1992):

1. The Ecstasy of Gold
2. Enter Sandman
3. Creeping Death
4. Harvester of Sorrow
5. Welcome Home (Sanitarium)
6. Sad But True
7. Wherever I May Roam
8. Bass Solo
9. Through the Never
10. The Unforgiven
11. Justice Medley (Eye of the Beholder / Blackened / The Frayed Ends of Sanity / ...And Justice for All)
12. Drum Solo
13. Guitar Solo
14. The Four Horsemen
15. For Whom the Bell Tolls
16. Fade to Black

20. One
21. Last Caress (The Misfits cover)
22. Am I Evil? (Diamond Head cover)
23. Battery
24. Stone Cold Crazy (Queen cover)

DVD2 (Seattle Coliseum, Seattle, WA, August 29 and 30, 1989):

1. The Ecstasy of Gold / Blackened
2. For Whom the Bell Tolls
3. Welcome Home (Sanitarium)
4. Harvester of Sorrow
5. The Four Horsemen
6. The Thing that Should Not Be
7. Bass Solo / To Live Is To Die jam
8. Master of Puppets
9. Fade to Black
10. Seek & Destroy

16. Last Caress (The Misfits cover)
17. Am I Evil? (Diamond Head cover)
18. Whiplash
19. Breadfan (Budgie cover)

The first dvd was divided onto two vhs's on the initial release, the cut being between Guitar Solo and The Four Horsemen.

3. Garage Inc's Tuesday's Gone features guest performances by Les Claypool, Jerry Cantrell, John Popper, Pepper Keenan and Gary Rossington, though I haven't found much information about their instruments on the song. So maybe we can manage without this unclear bit of information.

4. Last but not least (for now, this is just from a quick glance around some parts of the discography): The second previously unreleased song on S&M is called "-Human", not just "Human" Embarrassed

I updated items 2 and 4.

Should I add the DVD info per item 1?  I think that I have at home so I can probably double-check the information.

Does anyone have additional thoughts on item 3?  Should I add additional musicians with names, or should we try to find additional info on instruments played also?

It seems I missed a couple of names on the Tuesday's Gone thing. The song also features Sean Kinney from Alice in Chains and the ex-Faith No More guitarist Jim Martin. I'm pretty sure most of them play guitar (maybe some percussion work from Kinney) and very sure that the kick ass harmonica solo was done by John Popper. It's still very unclear what everyone's contribution was exactly, so it's up to you if you want to add them.

I'd like to remind that the St. Anger entry still says that Rober Trujillo (even the name is misspelled) plays the bass tracks on the album, which he does not. If you change the line-up to include Bob Rock, I can put some dvd info on the releases information field. Perhaps this would be the best line up version?

- James Hetfield / vocals, guitar
- Lars Ulrich / drums
- Kirk Hammett / guitar
- Bob Rock / bass

- Robert Trujillo / bass (on bonus dvd)

I changed Hammett's duty from lead guitar to guitar, since there really is no lead guitar on the album. Just rhythm, Hetfield on the left speaker and Hammett on the right.
