Have you seen the great rock opera Caligula, composed by Alex Ganassini? It's really great, it's a bit of a mixture of different styles, definitely worth listening to!

You can help the guy to collect the money to record a professional album. The way is long, as 50k$ is needed, but I think it might be worth it. And as he says on his profile, you will get a free copy of the whole opera if you invest 60$. It's a lot of money if you think of it as of "buying" the album, but think of it rather as of supporting a great artist.
Supporting an artist on Sellaband is easy, you just register as a believer and deposit some money (by PayPal or credit card), and pass it on to the artist(s) of your choice. And at any moment you can withdraw your money back, if you change your mind.
The whole thing consists of 18 songs, 3 of them are available for listening on the page I linked to above. I guess if you like the 3 songs and decide to support Alex, you also won't be disappointed by the rest of them.
Disclaimer: I'm not connected in any way neither to Sellaband nor to Alex Ganassini, I'm just propagating a sane idea of making music, and an artist who needs support. Of course I'm supporting him (and some others) too.
