Simple question. This has been debated for some time. the 2004 election he probably got elected 'normally'. but this wouldnt matter if he never actually got elected in 2000. I know this is 8 years old, but no one has actually taken action in finding out the truth, same with 9/11. This thread may turn into a Bush conspiracy thread or something like that, but let's keep everything civil and mature.
Now obviously no one talks about the people behind the curtains (Congress), making all the bills and laws and such, so let's not forget to throw them into the conversation. If you hate Bush, you should hellishly despise our Congress, and if you dont know what I mean, then you dont really know what's going on in politics.

Meh, it doesn't matter anymore to me.
Though you would have to be some kind of something to not want to see if Gore could even come close to f**king up the world as much as Bush.
Just counting down the days. Perhaps make a national holiday of when the guy vacates the house?

No one will ever know for sure, and I imagine people who care are in a minority. People generally have a short memory in the west. As long as we have our cars, houses, IPods, coffee shops and moutains of food, we dont really give two flying sh!tes about political corruption.

There were a lot of shenanigans going on with that election. It's been well investigated, just not by those with any authority to take action. Ultimately, it boiled down to the supreme court selecting him. I've posted references to Greg Palast. He's a great reference. I might also mention

either party is just as bad as the other. i dislike mccain, but i hardly think he's another bush. I really dislike obama but he at least wants to get us out of iraq so he has something that resembles a brain or thereabouts.

I wouldn't be surprised if the elections were rigged, there have been plenty of writings on such. I've read a few of them. Seems like Ohio had some foul play for sure. Then again, Kerry wasn't good at trying to win an election either. Nor was he a very good candidate.
The next one will probably feature some dirty election tricks too. Paper ballots anyone?

We wouldn't be having this discussion if Gore could have carried his home state of Tennesee in 2000. I think Gore would have been a better choice than Kerry or Obama in 2004 and 2008.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0432337/ - This is a somewhat interesting film about Ohio at the time, although it focuses more on Kerry's campaign being bad.

McCains very rich wife made him sign a prenup. If she doesn't trust him with her money would you trust him w/ yours?
McCain will win this election and when he does, he will restore the draft.

I don't imagine the draft being reinstated anytime soon, but there are people out there trying to revive it. Thats for sure.

Not so sure of that. Obama has the minority vote and McCain only has a 10 percent lead on him when it comes to the white vote. Obama has a 9-1 lead when it comes to the Black vote and a 6-4 in the Hispanic vote. It will be very hard for McCain to overcome those numbers if the African American and Hispanics come out to vote.

Does it really matter anymore? The damage has been done and it will have to be paid out over the next hundred years to fix it.
