PRESS RELEASE

Primal Vinyl Records are proud to announce that their latest release, Black Bonzo - Sound of the Apocalypse, is now available on vinyl for the very first time.

Originally released in 2007, Sound of the Apocalypse was critically acclaimed within the progressive rock community. The album cleverly takes all that is best about modern contemporary music and then combines it with all the best influences of 1970's prog and classic rock to produce music that is both melodic and extravagantly epic. Sound of the Apocalypse is listed as one of 2007's top ten progressive rock releases by such illustrious European polls as the Gagliarchives Top 100 Albums of the Year and received a nomination for Best Foreign Album at Progawards 2007.

This vinyl run has been pressed on 180 gm vinyl and comes in a superb gatefold picture sleeve. The run is limited to only 1000 copies world wide.

The album is available to buy at http://www.primalvinyl.co.uk/ - www.primalvinyl.co.uk .

This sounds very cool! I'd love to consider this for the next Shadow Circus album...

I've always thought that CD packaging was so lame compared to albums. Those Roger Dean and Geiger covers don't have nearly the same impact in a tiny square in cheap plastic that always cracks. There's a far greater sense of owning something of value with an album, not to mention that you can actually read the lyrics in a font that won't make your eyes strain, and you even use it to clean the seeds out of your...ermmm...things...

Not to mention that this is a format that can never be hurt by illegal downloading! I really hope this revolutionizes - or even de-evolutionizes, the record industry...
