Released on Post Progressive imprint Kscope Music, in association with the legendary Peaceville Records, Hindsight is the first release of new studio recordings from Anathema since 2003's acclaimed conceptual album, A Natural Disaster.
Featuring selected favourites spanning the band’s career, as well as brand new track, ‘Unchained (Tales Of The Unexpected)’, Hindsight sees Anathema creating sensitive semi-acoustic arrangements - utilising acoustic, electric and orchestral instruments - that further develop the deep, emotional landscapes that Anathema has become justly renowned for. [A Natural Disaster] 8. Temporary Peace [A Fine Day to Exit] 9. Flying? [A Natural Disaster] 10. Unchained (Tales Of The Unexpected) ...so, do we list this as a studio album or as a compilation? When a band re-records a whole album we treat it as a new album (Tangerine Dream: Phaedra 2005 etc) but when they re-record tracks from different albums we treat it as a compilation (Eloy : Chronicles 1 & 2) - is one new track sufficient to make this a studio album by PA definition? ------------- What? |
