They are............ they are on the Riffstock stage........... they were offered main stage in a slot next to pot doherty..... but decided the beer tent after ozerics would be a comfy place to be!

Woooohoooo I am really looking forward to this it looks like an awful lot of FUN and there are times when the FUN element in these things is sorely lacking!!!!

See ya there then............. Riffstock beer tent! Wink

How do you think tickets will sell though?
Whats the capacity?

Posted By: Wilcey
Date Posted: May 20 2008 at 12:30
5,000  capacity apparently ... which is quite a few !!!    I think it's the second or third year of the festival and they seem pretty confident, there is certainly a lot going on over the weekend!

That could be a possibility - is that the bank holiday weekend? Pendies, Aussies, Ozzies...

I am sorry to have to say that MOONFEST has been cancelled.
I just received a phone call from Moonfest HQ, due to some local concerns about Pete Doherty being on the bill & attracting "the wrong sort" of punter and causing a public disorder problem. The Festival organisers spent a long day in court, offering to cut Pete Doherty from the bill, but the judge ruled that as it had been advertised for some time that the problem would still exist. So their licence for the festival was revoked.

Festival in it's entirity cancelled.

Sad, sad news.

I am sure if any of you have purchased tix you will hear from the event organisers shortly.

Don't do drugs kids.

It seems MoonFest is getting more publicity now it's cancelled than it was when everything was hunky dory!
