Seriously.....is this legal?

I was surprised to see a downlaod of Pendragon in your blog,Nick and Co. are really against downloading.

You also have two Project Creation albums for download, and they are on ProgRock Records and the owner of the label is REALLY against downloading.

I am leaving this open but pending a response I am removing the URL for your blog.

Ginfress is changing his format to a streaming format, just to clear things up he has been given PERMISSION for each and every track he has on his blog, (jolly good it is too!)

But it's great that these things are being questioned, it means we're heading in a good direction!

Clap A big clappy for both of you !!!

I was just tryiing to make sure everything was kosher Rachel.

The project Creation albums posted there really threw me,there is no way Shawn Gordon would allow that.

@topic creator,it's nothing personal.

It's great that you question this.......... Shawn has given permission, I am not sure for which tracks though.

Thanks for the heads up, we really appreciate it!

The track voyager was suggested by Nick when i wanted to review "The World". Both Project Creation albums were given permission by Hugo Flores (the guy behind that project"

I know it's nothing personal. It's questioned thanks to those copyright-fraud illigal blogs which is a good thing it means there are still people around who do care about the rights bands and labels have with the stuff they release. Not that i am happy atm because a lot of work has been removed from the blog. Which t is ok since i said from the startoff that i would listen to those who own the rights to the songs.

How i continue now? No idea. The current player isn't really what i want since i can have max. 20 tracks on it. The stuff now on the player are only from albums i got for free. I got them for free because i would put up a track (progress records for instance i signed agreements with). The loss goes into those albums which i bought myself (for instance Transubstans Records from whom i was allowed to put 1-2 tracksup for download). My player can't handle it. And then knowing 14 albums are still on their way which has agreed tracks to which i should place....

Anyhow i don't mind you questioning my blog so i don't see it as personal but atm my motivation level in promoting prog-music has had a big dent.

cheers

So i did some changes on the blog. I removed the rapidshare option which confuses a lot of people. Downloading might comeback since i have one recordlabel who liked that option but if it happens it still won't be rapidshare. Will take some time though so for the time being people can only listen to music on the player.

Am working hard on other changes. One of them will be Progress Records helping out and giving me permission to link back to their download section of their website. This way people won't get confused by seeying a download option in my blog since they download from the labelsite..

Also i have made a first locked post in my blog in which i will write down which songs are on the player and from whom i got permission to do so. Hopefully that helps with people getting confused by seeying music in my blog.

cheers!

You did the right thing! Thumbs%20Up

And of course the last thing i want to see happen is a good prog-site getting into trouble.

cheers!

Rävjunk - Uppsala stadshotell brinner

Put this album in the blog while using the linernotes. Album starts of with punk rock and moves into progressive rock. The songs "Sherry, vermouth, vin & öl" and "Snowtraces (heavy weather)" can be found on the player! Album is released by Transubstans Records and can be bought at: http://https://www.recordheaven.net - https://www.recordheaven.net

cheers!
