Well, my computer right now is starting to crap out on me, after four
years... doesn't want to access the internet, has problems with my
sound card, is very slow, and basically sucks ass. So, I'm looking to
get a new computer, preferably a nice laptop. Should I get a Mac or a
PC? I've had tons of trouble with PCs over the years, but I've heard
nasty things about Macs as well... lots of goods and bads on each side,
so it seems. What do you suggest? As a side, can you connect a Mac and a PC to a network and share an internet connection? ------------- I bleed coffee. | It depends what you're doing. Macs're easier to use and will be a little more free with resources; if you're doing any heavy duty video/image editing then go for that. PCs are probably more easily customisable, since there's far more competition in the market. If you're just using it for listening to music or simple things (word processing etc.), it doesn't really matter so I'd just stick with what you know. You can connect Mac and PC to the same network and it shouldn't be too difficult. |

I don't even want to get started on the advantages of a mac over a pc.
Let's just say...if you want a reliable machine, don't want to have to worry about viruses or spyware and all that jazz....get a mac. Yes, you can easily share internet and network a mac and pc. (Mac can see the network, but the pc's will not see the mac.) I have this at home and work...here at work I'm running 3 g4s and a g3 on a whole network of pcs sharing internet and printers alike. ------------- http://www.flywithjet.com">
