Members of YES performs LIVE in New York City New York prepares for Jon Anderson, Circa, and the School of Rock
On March 5 and 10, 2008, vocalist Jon Anderson of the YES band can hope for yet another sell out show at B.B. King Blues Club and Grill and the Highline Ballroom. Jon Anderson, one of the many active band members of YES performing with various other artists and musicians, will be on stage with the young musicians from the School of Rock, bringing back authentic progressive rock of YES.
Appeared last in 2007, Jon Anderson performed two sellout shows at B.B. King’s and continues tour around the world with his legendary high-register lead vocals. Known for songs such as “Roundabout,” “This Time It Was Really Right,” and “Owner of a Lonely Heart,” Anderson will be performing with all-stars from the School of Rock, nurtured by the school founder, Paul Green. Don’t underestimate these future rockers, Green “pushes the kids to deliver accurate renditions of old hits, never offering easier arrangements or shorter versions. They play with a combination of professional skill and gawky teen-age charm.” Harness the legendary vocals of Anderson with the professionalism of the School of Rock, a classic rock show is a definite.
To hear more of the YES band, Circa will be performing at B.B. King's on May 5, 2008. The Circa members include current Yes member Alan White (drums), Yes members Tony Kaye (Hammond, keyboards) and Billy Sherwood (bass, vocals), and guitarist Jimmy Haun, who played on the album Union.

"This Time It Was Really Right"? Out of the entire Yes/Anderson catalog they pick a song I've never heard of as Jon being "known for?"

Not bad if you are in America, but quite a lot of us are not. I think the members of Yes are forgetting who gave them their big break in the first place.
