I will have to get this since S and A was the first (and so far only) Rush tour I have seen. It will be a great reminder of the killer show I witnessed. Otherwise, I probably would stay away from the fourth (or so) consecutive live album with a relatively same setlist.

It would've been a great track list if it wasn't for "larger bowl" and "workin' them angels". I'd love to see songs like Camera Eye, Red Barcheta or some forgotten material from the 80's.

I like it that "Distant Early Warning" is included. I don't recall them doing that one when I saw them in August.
I love it that they've kept "Between The Wheels" in the set list. Always a favorite of mine.

WARNING: FANBOY APPROACHING!
Can't freaking wait for the album/dvd! Saw them on tour and loved every
minute of it! I'm going again on the second leg of the tour (second row
tickets this time! Not nosebleeds!), and I can't freaking wait.
Am I the only one who wouldn't mind if they made another cd/dvd set of the second half?
As far as all the live stuff they release recently... I love it ALL!
Rush is such a great band to see live, every performance something of
beauty. Imagine what I was thinking when I saw x3 in stores after not
having heard anything about it.
...Yay.
PS- thought that the videos at the beginning and middle of the show were just great!

yes, there was a time when they religiously did live albums after every 4 studios...
..these days, it seems to be the other way around... ![LOL](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif)

that's what age does to our beloved stars: it's too tiring to compose new material, so let's take a holiday and play a few gigs on the way ![Wink](smileys/smiley2.gif)
Anyway, with a bit of luck I'm in the DVD, so I'll probably pass on the CD version (or the other way round )

Snakes & Arrows Live - New Album Now Available
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0013H8QEQ/powerwindows-20/"> Buy from Amazon | Snakes & Arrows Live, the new 2 CD set, was released April 15th. "With
this one, we recorded both nights and there are songs on there from
both nights -- so it gives you a bit more comfort. You're a bit more
relaxed about it knowing if you screw it up at night one, you can nail
it on night two. All in all I think we played very well those two
nights." - Geddy Lee, http://jam.canoe.ca/Music/Artists/R/Rush/2008/04/14/5277841-sun.html - Jam!Showbiz , April 14, 2008 Several Snakes & Arrows Live items can be found in the "Downloads" section of this website, including a http://www.2112.net/powerwindows/Userbars.htm - Userbar , http://www.2112.net/powerwindows/PSP.htm - PSP Wallpaper , http://www.2112.net/powerwindows/Skins.htm - Winamp Skin , and most importantly, a complete collection of http://www.2112.net/powerwindows/Wallpaper.htm#s&alive - Desktop Wallpaper . The DVD release of Snakes & Arrows Live is to be released later this year, although official date has been announced. In a recent interview Alex Lifeson remarked:
"'The
group decided to put the CD out first', he says, because 'we wanted to
kind of bridge the two halves of the tour with a release so there's
something there, and then we'll follow up with the live DVD.'" - http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003783608 - Billboard.com , April 1, 2008

It was a great tour anyway. | How many freakin`live Rush albums do we need. It seems that they release a live album from every tour. I refuse to give these guys any more money. And they`re coming back to Montréal in June. Heck they just played here less than a year ago. I`ve seen them 6 times and every show sounds the same. I dunno.
