My buddy interns at this label, called Fontana, and he gets to hear many albums before they are released. Yesterday, he picked me up from work and I heard this guy in his car. I can say he is pretty unique. First of all, I have to say, I have a lot of respect for any singer who can actually play an instrument. This guy, Mark Bryan, used to play guitar with Hootie and the Blowfish, so, basically, he knows how to rip it. Also, his album, End of the Front, doesn’t sound anything like all the other mainstream rock bands. I think we can call some of his songs pop/rock, but it could be up to the listener as well. Check him out, I think his new album will be released in March. Tell what you guys think:
