Hello, I'm a 17 year old and I've realized that I really like progessive rock. I've had a very hard time finding any kids my age that like any progressive. My journey into progressive music started when my dad turned me onto Jethro Tull's "Thick as a Brick" and I really liked it and I became an obbessive Jethro Tull fan, I also started to look around for more progressive music and found Gensis and liked them a lot too. I came to this forum to expand my views and hopefully find some good music. My taste in music is considered odd by some of my peers, but I don't think it's that weird. My favorite bands are: Jethro Tull, Juno Reactor, Oingo Boingo, Incubus, The Aquabats, Save ferris,   (I'm embarrassed about this one) Dragon Force, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd.

Shouldn't we keep them in some kind of prison if they're that dangerous? I'm really looking forward to hearing some new stuff.

ahahhaha.. thinking like that will get you a collab position before you know it... of course they are dangerous.  I suggest that if you have credit cards.. or a debit card.. throw IT in a prison before exploring the site.  You'll end up eating Ramon Noodles for breakfast, lunch and dinner LOL

Howdy from Texas and welcome to the club.  From the groups you mentioned you would probably enjoy Phideaux's "Doomsday Afternoon."  I'm on my 3rd listening and it reminds me of early Genesis and Tull without being a copycat thing.
