Big%20smile Yes - I'm going - saw them last Saturday at Wath, great set, great performance and the new keyboard player Mark Westworth, seems to have filled Widgy's boots really well.

Hey is Paul Cook stills drumming with IQ? I had read that he packed it in and moved out to the country with his wife. Any word on this? Also if he's gone, who is the new drummer and any announcements from the band about getting back to the studio? Sorry for all the questions, just that I'm from the States and IQ doesn't get over here to often. Anyway, cheers!Wink

Cook left not long after Dark Matter was released, Andy Edwards has been in the stool since about 2006. As for an album, no word yet I'm afraid, though apparently they've been writing since about the time Cook left.

Hey Deafmoon,
Do you also know that Martin Orford left?  The replacement is a guy called Mark Westworth.

Hi Sleeper great gig wasn't it ?

been followinf IQ since Are you sitting comfortably but it was my first time seeing IQ in the flesh was well impressed by the standard of muscianship.

can you remember what the set was i've forgotten what a couple of the songs they played already (old age creeping up on me !)

was uncertain about travelling 100 miles to see them but i'm glad i did now

I only have The Seventh House and Dark Matter from them, so the only songs I recognised, and that they mentioned the title for were:

You Never Will
Frequency
Harvest of Souls
Guiding Light
Crashed and Burnt
Darkest Hour

There's about 4 or 5 others they played that I dont know the title for.

The Full Set list was:-

Awake & Nervous
You never will
Frequency
Magic Roundabout
Harvest of Souls
Sleepless incidental
Crashed & Burned
It all stops here
Guiding Light
Out of Nowhere - Encore
Darkest Hour - 2nd Encore
The Seventh House was dropped from the set, but probably because Pete was suffering with a throat infection.
