They didn't sound prog to me.

The main problem with this "emerging" band is that they explicitly try to avoid to be classified... They're "unidentified noisy objects": open to every kind of influence!

On their first album (BTW, you can legally download it for free) you can find many influences and a lot of "irony"... There are "quotes" of Italian srtists like Fabrizio De Andrč (Gli anni di Pongo) and Franco Battiato (Dharmania), prog-rock, electro (Aritmetrica), folk, psychedelia (Oggetti rumorosi)... Very interesting lyrics...

On their second album there are only covers and I don't think it's particularly interesting...

On myspace you can listen to four tracks of the new album and I like especially "Geronimo" and "L'esilio".

So, as the 'Eclectic Prog' term is specially meant to reference bands that trespass the boundaries of established Progressive Rock genres or that blend many influences... The problem is that they do not sound at all like VDGG, KC or GG... Their music ranges from Rage Against The Machine to electronic to folk!

Anyway, although thy're not easy to be classified I think that U.N.O deserve a try!
