As I said in another thread, I have heard Lingalad play live on a couple of occasions. They are a Tolkien-inspired band, and they are very often invited at Tolkien-based events around Italy (they are from Bergamo). Their music is heavily influenced by Irish folk, and very distantly related to prog, as far as I can remember. I don't think they stand any chance of being approved for addition in Prog-Folk, since other, much more progressive bands have been refused.

If you can understand Italian, here you can find and interesting retrospective by Donato Zoppo about the band: http://www.movimentiprog.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=565&page=1 - Il lungo viaggio dei Lingalad
