Get The Word Out - Prog Rock on Slacker.Com

My name is Chris Boros - music programmer for NPR, WKSU-FM, and now Slacker.Com. I am programming their Prog Rock station. We just launched the prog channel a few weeks ago and while we are still tweaking and adding content, I thought you would like to know Prog Archives has been a HUGE resource in researching bands. Thank you SO much for the site. The Top CDs of 2006 and 2007 were a huge help in programming more recent material. I would love to see you put up a "New Release" section which showcases the very most recent albums released within the last couple months. It would be a very big help in knowing exactly what's the most recent material. If you have a moment - check out the Prog Channel on Slacker.Com. it's free to listen and you can skip songs and customize the station so certain bands play more often or not at all. Keep in mind, we're still adding content and working to make the mix the best it can be. Since it was just launched, there's still some work to do, but you will get the basic idea and I think you'll be pretty impressed how much music we already have streaming. Thanks again for the site.
