This line-up is withoput Lupo and Eroc.  Not much worth seeing, if you ask me...

Unfortunately POPO will never more join the band... he left this planet to his Solar Experience some months ago. Cry

I have seen Grobschnitt several times in the 70's, and even so I haven't seen the reformed Grobschnitt yet, I won't judge them until I hear them....BTW the critics of the Aschaffenburg concert are quite positive, and what's a legitimate band anyway...Ermm Wildschwein, Moff Mollo and Milla have played (or acted ) a  long time in the band  and If the new members are  motivated ....

I`d go just for Guru Guru. Mani has kept that band going man ! Saw a couple of videos of performances from just this year and they`re still playing stuff from UFO ! As for Grobschnitt well, I saw them in `78 when I was 16 years old and still remember the theatrics especially the guy with the horns who comes on at the end of Solar Music. After EROC left they still had some steam left in them but the seventies was the time of glory for Grobschnitt. Would even love to see Focus sans Akkerman.

I thought I would ressurect this thread rather than start a new Grobschnitt thread.
Has anyone seen the fan videos of the new Grobschnitt on youtube ? Wow ! Not bad. The stage show is not as freaked out but the band sounds great. I`m watching Rockpommel`s Land right now. Anywhere is as good as I ever heard them do it. I saw them once many eons ago in 1978 when I wasn`t supposed to be going to rock concerts.
