I'm sure this has been brought up before, and Im not going to argue any responces I get, but I've always been surprised I've never been able to find Helloween on this website, even under prog-related. They've always been great storytellers, especially in their Keeper Of The Seven Keys series. They've got a number of longer epics like "Halloween" and "Occasion Avenue" or even "I Believe", and they usually find room to put some kind of an epic (if sometimes only 7-minutes long) on every album.

Anyways, this is not a thread trying to get them on the site (but I wouldn't complain if it was considered), just wondering what the verdict on them was if this topic has ever come up before.

I definitely don't think they should be here. They are just an above average metal band to me.

I guess I was also a little confused as how Masterplan got on here but their parent band didn't. Ive always found helloween to have more progressive qualities than Masterplan, but neither is truly prog.

I think they would fit well here, perhaps as prog related, possibly as prog metal. I suspect our prog metal team will already have considered them.
