It's Jack, baby. Y'dig?

Remember:
I'm referring to the film, not Nicholson's performance.

Personally, I like "Five Easy Pieces."

Peace & take care

"Chinatown" is a landmark film, imo, but it's awfully hard to choose, because I really like "The Shining" a lot too (as well as "Five Easy Pieces", "Carnal Knowledge" "Marvin Gardens" "Cuckoo's Nest" "Postman" and on and on...

Stop! No more! Isn't it bad enough I have to decide between three pairs of shoes in the morning?

But if you put a gun to my head, I'd have to say I've seen the Shining more times than all of the other choices combined. And I LOVE Easy Rider, Chinatown, and Cuckoo's Nest. Jack even made Terms of Endearment worth watching (once).

One more for The Shining!  Its my favourite horror flick of all time.

Its not just Jack that makes it, it's Kubricks brilliant direction. Stephen King didn't like it, though. His own re-make was utter rubbish IMO.

Five Easy Pieces. The title of the film refers to piano pieces. Jack's character plays the piano.

Not a great JN fan but I found About Schmidt deeply moving.Wonderfully understated acting performance that deserved more plaudits.

He also did an equally brilliant film 4 years ago that was directed by Sean Penn called ''The Pledge''.Very dark stuff but JN is superb in it.   http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0237572/ - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0237572/

"The Pledge" was great- good call, rh.

It had very little of what one expects from a typical JN role, but he was outstanding...further proof that he's one of the greatest screen actors of our time.

Reed, posting pictures like that will just lead me deeper into temptation. I even thought she was hot as late as Grumpy Old Men!
