You could apply any of those genres. "Revolution #9" is actually more performance art than it is a song.

Progressive Rock is full of what  you call outlets of this type of music. I don't think its bad Sydwaters is pointing this out. You have the lists of what kinds of progressive rock is there.

Agreed.   I'd call it avant-garde if I had to shove it in a category.
