Friday 18th of March.  I and my girlfriend shall be there, and no doubt we'll be the youngest in attendance. I was just wondering if any other UK members are going to be at this gig? I'm deleriously excited - my favourite Canterbury band reunited! Hoorah!

Unfortunately not, I will be at the ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead gig in Nottingham.  Still one of the most exciting bands I've seen live.  I saw the DVD of Hatfield in the 1980s, and I nearly fell asleep during it.  Whilst I love their first 2 albums dearly, I just found that the style didn't suit a modern rendering.

Hope you enjoy it - tell us what it was like....

I saw the Hatfields at the Robin, Bilston, Wolverhampton on Sunday 25th Sept.

Richard Sinclair was in good voice, although Phil Miller's guitar work wasn't as tight as on the albums. I've posted some pictures at http://www.flickr.com/photos/pebar/sets/952419/ - http://www.flickr.com/photos/pebar/sets/952419/

I saw them at Swindon Arts Centre and they were magical.  Not really knowing much about their music before hand (only having heard two of their tunes) I was very impressed.  I am a Caravan fan and have always liked Richard Sinclair's vocal forays.  Phil Miller was great and Pip Pyle's drumming was solid.  Alex Maguire, who has replaced Dave Stewart on keyboards was great too and was producing some awesome sounds from his Korg.

A thoroughly enjoyable gig.  I had a brief chat with Richard Sinclair after the gig and got my Hatwise Choice CD signed by Richard Sinclair and Phil Miller.  I somehow missed Pip Pyle, he disappeared before I had bought my CD...
