Knowing Seans love of Rush it would be a fitting tribute to them if he stopped for a short time. Maybe he could make his 2112th review a Rush CD.

He could stop for a year and still be in front.
Or he could write them and then submit them all at once after a fitting pause (minutes silence?).

are you kidding me....
Ziggy really sang, screwed up eyes and screwed down hairdo
Like some cat from Japan, he could lick 'em by smiling
He could leave 'em to hang
Came on so loaded man, well hung and snow white tan.
more than 700 reviews in less than 6
months , all long ones, very clear and complete, none in the 4-5 lines
kind you see all the time around here)

No really.
He could type them in a word processor and then just copy and paste them after a fitting interlude by liberal use of copy and paste.

Your so called pitiful attempts are better than mine. A total of zero reviews as we write. I actually like Sean's reviews partly for the reasons you mentioned above.
But come on 2112 is a very special number.

Judging by your lack of appearance in the top 100 that might just take a while unless you cheat.
Which Rush album would you save for your 2112nd review. Could it be 2112?

That album is often overlooked, but it is more interesting than many of their later CDs.
At the rate I review I'll have to live longer than the universe.

it was the album I wore out when I learned to play bass.. so it has
sentimental attachment. The lyrics are just plain silly...
but the music is pretty good stuff.

2112 was the one I wanted to play when learning the guitar. I had not heard any other Rush at that stage. My friends and I used to play 2112 reasonably but we could never do the vocals.

Same sound on those two albums >> Listen to Camera and Owner oF A Fart, this is the same kind of production. >> I've written better reviews than that one!!
2112 >> one of my fave reviews of mine!
2112 >> Yes, I had pondered stopping at that mark, but now that it is quite near (I've gone way past that if you check the total amounts of reviews that are less than 50 words), I guess I'll stop for a small sabbatical, but I don't really plan stopping reviewng.
I am not that happy with some of the latest development in PA , and with a few outside personal issues (rather pleasant but unsettling) , I've had less time to invest in here.
So Clem has temporarily taken direction of Prog Folk, until I decide to return, if I can swallow some of the recent events here!

you have Hugues.. the production may be the
same.. and musically they are very different. In structure and it
sound... Squire was neutered on 90125... his Rick blazed on
Drama... on 90125... he was put way in the background.. that was the
beginning of when he started to phone it in as he has admitted.
Rabin was no Howe... want a classic overproduced 80's guitar sound...
listen to 90125. Howe on Drama was a beast.
They are alike only in some production... and the fact that Squire and White played on both.

oh christ.... got an hour
simply... it is a different sub-genre... lots of different sounding
groups in there. Your best bet is to check the samples... and go
from there. Find you stuff you like.. and based on that ...I can
set you up with some ideas.

it is not a symphonic sub-genre.. it was changed this spring in practice.. but the name hasn't been changed yet.
