The ØRESUND SPACE COLLECTIVE creates music for aural adventurers and people that really listen to music and hope to get something special

out of the experience. Our music speaks to these people. It is through the power of free form improvisation that our creative spirits align to create the

musical journey we call the OSC. It is not only the magic of the moment but the spirit that rises up through the music and escapes. There is a lot of

hidden sounds, feelings and moods in the music for one to discover through aural stimulation. We recommend you exit your normal existence, relax

with a good beer or a smoke, place the headphones firmly in place and relax…..enter into the Black Tomato….

The ØRESUND SPACE COLLECTIVE was formed in April 2004. The collective is a group of Danish, Swedish and American musicians that get

together as often as possible for free form improvised space rock music. See the bands biography on the web page for more information. The

collective records all of the jam sessions and makes these available to fans via the web site in MP3 format. There are currently over 35 hours of

material on the web site for free download. The bands live concerts are all available for download at the Live Archive.org (http://www.archive.org).

The bands debut CD was released on the Transubstans label from Malmö, Sweden in January 2006. IT was a limited edition of 500 numbered copies

for the first pressing, which is nearly sold out. In October 2006, the band released the massive; It’s all about Delay double CD in a deluxe DVD case.

This was the bands crown achievement and it would be hard for the band to top this trip to outer space. Comparisons to HAWKWIND, GONG, The

SPACIOUS MINDS, HIDRIA SPACEFOLK and OZRIC TENTACLES have been made by the media.

The OSC is back with its 3rd studio CD entitled, The Black Tomato. It was recorded in November 2006 over 2 days at the Black Tornado Studios and

engineered by Lars Lundholm and Henrik Udd. The mixing and mastering was done by Henrik Udd (FIRST BAND FROM OUTER SPACE,

DIMMU BORGIR) in Göteborg, Sweden. There are no overdubs! The CD presents 3 journeys in sound. The grooves are massive, sometimes a bit

hypnotic (Kraut rock like) but clearly this is still progressive space rock at its best. Amazing synthesizer and guitar sounds to stimulate, excite and

surprise the listener every time. You will discover new trips with every listen!
