I managed to pass my driving test 48 days before my 40th birthday. Since then i've had 3 cars, a Seat (great accelertion and reliability) , a Daewoo (typical cheapo eastern motor) and a Fiat .
In my own limited opinion is that Fiat are bloody awful cars, i've spent almost £1000 on this heap of sh1te. It's too wide, veryone in the car park wants to dent my motor. The tyres cost me £150 a shot.
Enough whingeing...what is your worst car?

Well I;m 18 now but have to drive a lot to school, work and stuff and my current car is my first and probably the worst I'll ever have... it's a '95 Nissan Altima and we had to take it to the service station 3 times during the last 2 months.

Daewoo are a joke car company... or I always thought they were. I think they use Vauxhall or VW parts.
Fiat's are indeed terrible, from what I've seen of them.
My father had a Ford Escord Lightning once (a work car, he wouldn't ever buy a Ford) and it was bloody awful! The spoiler on the back made the car drive appallingly, it caused a lot of drag. Plus the chassis was very low, so everytime he went over traffic calming bumps, the bottom of the car scraped on the tarmac. Plus it accelerated like sh*t off a shovel.
I've only ever had the one car, A Vauxhall Astra and I've never had any major problems with it.

Ford Sierra (unreliable), Skoda Felicia (dull), Lada Samara (dull), Nissan Serena (very uncomfortable seats), Ford Ka (red colour ones are awful), Austin Mini Metro (unreliable).
Nissan Micra Convertable (dreadful), Renault Espace (nice car, but not very well built).

What's the colour of Ford Ka's got to do with it? I thought they were all terrible, no matter what colour!
Someone I knew had this very awful car that made me feel very unsafe, because it felt top-heavy. Everytime he went round a corner, I thought the car was going to tip over. I forget what car it was now. A little thing from the 1990s or earlier.

I also took to driving quite late in life (It was the words "I'm pregnant" that finally galvanised me in action - for a lot people this is the cue to get married, for me it was the cue to learning to drive), so I've only ever owned three cars, and two of those were more or less the same model (except one had a bigger engine and sports suspension).
So I'd have to say that my first - a VW Scirocco GTX - which I owned for 10 years, was pretty much trouble-free and I thoroughly enjoyed driving was the worse car I've ever owned. If that makes sense.

Austin/MG Mini Metro (Mark 1) 1980-1984, nice cars to look at but really unreliable:
Faults included:
Flat battery, Puncture, Window falling into door, Interior falling into bits, Wiper stopped working on Driver's side, Stiff Gearbox in 2nd gear, Screaming Fan Belt, Ran out of Petrol on top of a hill in a middle of nowhere, Broken Speedometer, Light bulbs stopped working on dash board, the orange light was always the worst culprit, Headlights flashing for no reason, Indicator light does not flash, just stays on still, Wheel bearing fell off the car when it was moving, Broken front seat drawer, Stereo had faults, Wiper stopped working on Driver's side, Didn't always Start up. Heater didn't work. Handbrake cable snapped. Door handle broke in your hand, Key snapped in the lock.
I have seen all these faults on 4 different Metro's, not every one but each car had some of the above faults.
BTW a 998cc engine, I swear to god, when I was sitting in the back of the Metro on the dual carriageway to Pembroke the Metro managed 100MPH in a small engine, I couldn't believe a Metro was capable of that in 4th gear.
It certainly didn't feel that quick.

I also almost had an accident with one coming up a steep hill, but that wasn't his fault. I wasn't expecting a three-wheeler to come up such a steep hill!

I absolutely HATE Volkswagen Bugs. Whenever I ride in the back of one, I hit my head on the side (which I don't even want to know what happens if the car gets hit on the side) and sitting in the front ain't too fun either.
(NOTE: Never drove in it, but hate every time I ride in one.)

I'm still learning to drive but as a result of changes of model and instructor I've driven quite a few cars, the old design of Vauxhall Corsa (both petrol and diesel) and the new model (diesel only), the latest Ford Focus (the 1.8 TDi ) and finally I've also driven my Mum's 1.2 petrol Fiat Punto.
the worst car I've driven is either the petrol Corsa or my Mum's Punto which both feel very slow and don't handle well outside of a city, the best is easily the Focus which can go like sh*t off a shovel and is very comfortable to drive.

I dont drive (surprising for a petrol head isnt it) but a friend of mine has a Fiat Punto from 97, it was in good nick when he bought it for £800 last year, but in that year he's spent over £1000 having work done to it, the most recent was an engine rebuild after he head gasket failed, probably due to damage caused by the water pump disintergrateing the week before.
Another mate of mine had a Peugeot 106 and had a great trick with it, he';d pull the hand brake whilst doing 70+ down the motorway, needless to say that it would scare the sh*t out of passengers who didnt know the hand brake didnt work.

Interesting is that Nissan has improved their cars such that today's Altima is a lot like (and maybe even better than) the Maxima of the mid 90s, and probably today's Sentra is like the old Altima. Sounds like your car is starting to exceed the annoyance threshold - for me, if I have to visit the shop that many times, it's time to get a another car (just happened with my wife's old Chevy Prism, now she has a Subaru Forrester - vast improvement! )
also slight correction: I probably was driving a '94 Altima because I had it all of senior year, but they prob. didn't change too much from what you have.

Interesting hearing the Euro perspective on this. When I was in Germany I had what every American dreams of, driving as fast as possible on the autobahn. Unfortunately we rented a Fiat Punto which I could barely get to 175 km/h going down hill.
But, the worst care ever, the AMC Matador. It's like a Gremlin on growth hormone. Funny thing is, it was Motor Trend car of the year 1973.

I spent too many years as a motorcyclist, however my dad decided I had to get a car and to my mortal embarrassement, bought me one of these:
...The Bond Minicar - with a stonking 197cc engine driving the front wheel (yep, just the one) it was worse than the Reliant could ever be, you had to open the bonnet and kick-start the engline! Luckily I never had to drive it on the road and soon unloaded it onto a 'collector' of said vehicles.
Undetered by that little set-back, he then bought me one of these:
I actually quite liked this little bugger, but my dad baulked when I said I wanted to put a BMW 750 motorcycle engine in it. We did it up and sold it on, again before I had to drive it on the road.
After that he finally gave up and let me buy another bike.

I actually owned a Yugo 45 for a few months about 15 years ago - I remember it needed a push start most mornings (even in good weather) and barely accelerated at all once you hit 40 mph (though it would eventually reach 70 - I never dared to try driving it any faster than that, so it may have been capable of more). On the plus side, it was very cheap.
There's a film called Mona Drowning - or possibly Drowning Mona - in which the Yugo has a significant role, alongside Danny De Vito, Bette Middler and Jamie Lee Curtis. I also saw photos of an art exhibition where American students created artworks using Yugos - one was turned into a giant Zippo lighter, and another (appropriately) was fitted with a toilet.
The Yugo - what a heap of sh*te!

The wor$t car I ever owned was a used Audi Quattro -- talk about expen$ive part$ (and it ALWAYS needed new parts)! I think German car parts are made of solid platinum!
The heated seats were nice, though -- warm buns on a frosty morning make for a good start to the day, eh wot?
------------- "And, has thou slain the Jabberwock? Come to my arms, my beamish boy! O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!' He chortled in his joy.

We have a plethora of jokes to the detriment of Skoda's reputation:
eg -
Why do Skoda's have heated rear windows? To keep your hands warm when you're pushing it.
How do you double the value of a Skoda? Put a gallon of petrol in it.
etc

First time I jumped into the passenger seat of a friends Merc SLK and I felt a pleasant, warming sensation in the seating department I turned to the driver and asked "Do you have heated seats?" She nodded. "Are they on now?" She nodded again. "Thank fk for that! - I thought old age had arrived early."
------------- What?

What's similar between a Skoda and a bathtub? You wouldn't want to get out of one in public.

I had an old Austin Metro once, and I was amazed when someone stole it.
The insurance had just lapsed so I didn't bother to report the theft to the police.
