Not sure where to put this.  Thought it might make for an interesting topic as someone touched on it in an unrelated thread.

If you've never looked it up I tried:
http://philbrodieband.com/muso_birthdays_january.htm - http://philbrodieband.com/muso_birthdays_january.htm  (it might not be comprehensive with regard to prog and none of the artists are necessarily prog.  Would like to hear from someone with any better web sites to try.)

I got these results for myself (3/30):

March 30th
1979: Norah Jones [US singer].
1979: Simon Webbe [vocals; Blue].
1968: Celine Dion [Canadian singer].
1967: Ace/Martin Kent [UK guitarist, Skunk Anansie]
1965: Tim Dorney [keyboards; Republica].

1963: M.C. Hammer/Stanley Kirk Burrell [rap artist].
1955: Randy VanWarmer [singer, songwriter,composer]*12.Jan.2004.

1949: Lena Lovich/Lili-Marlene Premilovich [US singer, saxophone].
1948: James "Jim Dandy" Mangrum [lead vocals; Black Oak Arkansas].
1945: Johnny Walker/Peter Dingley [Radio DJ; Radio Caroline/BBC Radio].
1945: Eric Clapton [singer, guitarist, songwriter].
1941: Graeme Edge [drums, Moody Blues].

^ Actually I love the Colosseum & Atomic Rooster albums Farlowe's been on, he's a powerful singer and does a great job (he's also great on Page's "Outrider"), but beyond the musical qualities his voice suggests me an annoying personality - which is probably not the case, but I can't help feeling that way . I wish I had Robert Plant too, instead of Farlowe.

Since I was born on the 16th of February, I share the same ones as Man Erg. Still the best known person I share my birthday with (altough he probably doesn't know that) is mister John Mc Enroe (one of the top five tennis player of all-times).

We were actually born on the very same day. February 16, 1959 (yes, I know I'm getting old)Cry

There is a high probability that a room filled with thirty randomly selected people - even prog musicians plus you - share the same birthday.  This is so sweet.....come on...... grow up........ what's the point? Oh! I forgot, thinking such sweet things. Heart Sheesh!

^No that's not true. It's just that the probability of two people within a group of 25+ sharing the same birthday is more than 0.5. It's not probable that someone within a group has the same birthday as you specifically.
