A friend of mine at work has just bought the Velvet Revolver album (takes allsorts!), but, he can't rip it to iTunes/his iPod. He gets a message saying the album is copyright protected, any ideas anyone? ------------- "Just keep me nose clean, egg, chips & beans, I'm always full of steam" |

Can you get around that by copying the CD and then ripping the tracks from the copied disc? Or does it copy the protection too? -------------

You could try using different software for ripping? Exact Audio Copy works like a charm, and it can be configured to rip music into all kinds of formats.
