I'm not sure the extent to which this apparently odd combination will interest PA members, but I will post the dates nonetheless... partly because I'm not sure how many opportunities their UK fanbase will get to see Queensryche in the future...

^^ no, I wouldn't say that, but I ask you, for how long will middle aged men, producing mediocre albums, with only half the original line-up which made them great, continue to treck across to the UK, to play to ever dwindling audience numbers??

| Chirs DeGarmo is the only one to quit, how is that half? Besides, I thought both Tribe and OM2 were quite good and showed that Tate still could sing (not as well, of course) and he could still pen thoughtful lyrics. IMO Degarmo's role in the band is overstated. Tate brought proggy influences with him when he joined what was then The Mob. DeGarmo has some great lyrics but Tate is equal. Plus, DeGarmo's guitar skills, though good, are nothing than can't be replicated. |

| They are playing St Davids Hall in Cardiff which is not far from me but I'm undecided whether to attend- I'm not that big a Queensryche fan (like 'Mindcrime', that's about it, really- find the rest of their albums that I've heard to be fairly average) and though I love the Thin Lizzy albums, I'm not sure how they would be without the legendary Phil Lynott. |

If anyone was thinking of popping along to see Queensryche, I think you'll be disappointed, as they have pulled out of the tour owing to the illness of one of the band members. Info as I write this is a bit sketchy, but apparently, because Thin Lizzy were (technically) the headliners, venues are not offering refunds....  ------------- Music has always been a matter of energy to me.
