Think the word camel only refers to the colour here, so relax. Wink

Our camel covers are under the band/project named Music by Accident.
I did drums engineering and mix, have long time buds playing all else as well as a web keyboardist and vocs on a few.

let me know what you think.

Hi there - well I had a quick look at the page of covers & tried listening to a few of them - the one that seriously caught my attention were the ones by the band Music by Accident !!! - especially the snow goose - you have done a fab job here !! - I just checked out Ice - one of my fav tracks. I was waiting for the "blast" when it comes in with the main theme, but then realised that you just did the intro ! - however that sounds very good though - what a track though.

Great stuff - tell the guitarist that his tone on snow goose is spot on !! not to say the drums were not too ! but the guitar really is good

Cheers & thanks for the link

cool, thanks! we're (MbA) a rec-room jam band and seldom get out (in this configuration). Lane Collinson is the guitarist who I have play'd with since 1971 and he does love Camel. I'll let him know as he doesn't have internet!

Ice was suppose to be the entire tune but I got lazy trying to untangle the midi I got from a web contact (I thought it had timing errors but it may have been me). I may just try again and piece them together, I love the rest of that tune, that crying guitar.

Thanks again, I don't get out much.

Thanks for checking us out Randy - there are only clips playing on the main yak website due to space constrictions, but 4 tracks rolling at our myspace page http://www.myspace.com/yaktunes - http://www.myspace.com/yaktunes

Please note that 'Jadis of Charn' is too long for the 10 meg myspace limit, so has a premature fade !

Of the 4 there I would say that Yakrise is probably the most Camelesque IMO - I particularly like Andy Ward's drumming & I tried to program this one in his style, especially the faster bit.

Cheers

Martin
