I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with Guitar Hero, basically they choose songs with interesting guitar and bass work. Me and my brother were thinking what good prog songs would be awesome to play. King Crimson - Frame By Frame, Red Genesis - The Knife, Los Endos Yes - Roundabout, South Side Of The Sky Kansas - Lightnings Hand, Opus Insert Pink Floyd - Shin On You Crazy Diamond Any other good ones I am missing? Edit: In That Quite Earth, cant forget that. |

Yup, the bass part is damn near impossible on the hard and expert settings. Also, Primus' John the Fisherman and Kansas' Carry on My Wayward Son are on Guitar Hero 2. Shine on you Crazy Diamond is a great song but let's be honest: it's very boring to play the song I would like to hear a Devin Townsend song on guitar hero (e.g Triumph or Earth Day), Dream Theaters 'Caught in a Web', Symphony Xs 'Of Sins and Shadows', Fates Warnings 'Guardian' or Pain of Salvations 'Voices' ------------- nou... mag ik het niet nog een keertje overdoen? |

Won't Get Fooled Again by The Who would be unbelievable! Can anyone here get over 95% on Carry On My Wayward Son? I can get about 92-93 on expert. I am OK on YYZ but the guitar solo after the bass/drum solos is impossible! ------------- . |

No songs. Any song that I like that gets into guitar hero gets beaten into the ground by people who think they're cool because they can play it in the game. I cannot tell you how many people flip out whenever they hear YYZ but then hear another song and go "what is this sh*t?"

uhhh, actually the longer songs aren't much fun because they make your hand numb and fry your coordination (like Freebird which is on there), so listing something like 2112 sounds cool in theory, but no one would actually ever want to play it more than once or twice.

"Larks IV" would be awesome. It would be insanely impossible though, even on the normal setting. Maybe a nice little medley of Mood For A Day an The Clap would be fun to do. -------------

Someone I know says he hated the song "YYZ" when I played it on a stereo. When I asked why, he said that it was because he couldn't play it on Guitar Hero II.
