Finding time between teaching courses in film studies and finishing his master’s degree, Withrow avoids the rockstar lifestyle cliché by living healthy and writing great music.

"Dissonance Rising is a concept album where each song represents a particular time period,” explains Withrow. “It is a level of storytelling that is rarely seen in music and truly deserves the moniker ‘rock opera’”

Withrow is known for his operatic vocals, scalpel-precision guitar work and memorable melodic themes. When he's not penning his latest composition, he searches Europe and Asia for inspirational new sounds.
