thoughts? IMO it's a really interesting concept, it combines cutting edge digital technology with 100% authentic analog technology.Big%20smile

Looks interesting.  Is there a price set?

Not that I'd buy one (I'm a bassist, rather than a guitarist), I'm just curious.

In Germany it cost around 1800 EUR ... a fair price, considering that it is an American Series Strat + all the digital extras.

^ It's essentially an American Strat (which sells at approx. 1400 EUR in Germany) plus the digital circuitry and the Roland pickup ... based on these figures (1400 EUR, 1800 EUR) the VG Strat should cost about 30% more than an American Strat. Seems reasonable to me!

This is very cool.

I love it when guitarist make those facial expression when they change chords and they look shocked....as though they have no idea what is going on.

Fair enough!

Speaking as a bit of a traditionist I like my guitars to be simple and don't trust digital technology for music creation, I'm much happier with simple analog electronics, mainly because I can service, modify and even design the electronics myself.

My problem is: I already have a strat, a GR20 synth and a modelling amp. It's the appeal of having so much stuff inside the guitar and not having to plug everything in all the time.

Perhaps I need a roadie!Confused

Of course there is a cheaper solution: the Line6 Variax. But then again it's not as "sexy" as the Fender guitar ... Big%20smile
