Bird of Paradise, Midnight Running and A million Miles away where also included on the As Good As Gold EP, I don't know if those are the same versions, I expect they are.
It was a very good EP, which i sadly lost, so I guess I can be motivated to buy the remaster version if only for those tracks.

Yup, this is an amalgamation of Masquerade Overture and the Good as Gold EP, bundled onto one CD and re-mastered.
I don't think it's a sales ploy, more of the fact that both have been out of print for a while and it made a nice package to put them together and re-master......... and for those who don't already have them it is a bit of a bargain too!!! P-C
