I guess I just proved my point of being new around here... since I posted and voted on the older zappa poll!! So, I'll just copy paste my comment from there to here.
... yeah, Hot Rats just isn't as exciting to me as the other two.
Oh, hey I'm new round these parts... but, I've been a nearly completely coverted proghead for 5 or so years now... and it was all Mr. Zappa's fault!! Damn musical geniuses!

Hot Rats for me doesn't even make it into my top 10 Zappa albums!! GASP!!

I shall not prepare a would be top 10 list unless demanded.... it's so difficult to say which 10 albums are the best!
