Derek Sherinian - original keyboardist or Dream Theter, was thrown out
over creative issuesand moved onto other work including that with Platypus, Planet X and also under his own name doing a jazz/rock fusion. Jordan Rudess - Originally entered Pro-style music in the early 90's with a solo album. Also did work with Liquid Tension Experiment and later joined Dream Theater. He is also considered among the "elite" keyboard players of all time. But which do you think is better? The original DT member or the new one? Vote now! Oh, and persoanlly I prefer Sherinian... Trial of Tears on DT's Falling into infinity seals that deal. ------------- My entertainment dollar is burning in my pocket! |

You are aware that Dream Theater's original keyboardist was Kevin Moore, right?

| Anyway, back on topic. I prefer Jordan Rudess, I think his work on the four albums he has been on is excellent. It's a great fit. |

Rudess is a phenom and probably deserves the title of 'Best', but I'll take Sherinian if only for Planet X.

Yeah, I posted this accidentally as a topic... I had the brainwave starting it at 3am my time. So I hit the wrong button, posted it then said to myself "****" And yeah, I am aware that he was the 2nd. I don't generally count Moore though. But, because I forgot the poll...
