i will be travelling to nyc shortly and i'd like to know the best prog and psychedelic record stores over there; i'm mainly interested in vinyls.

| I don't know if you'll find vinyls there, but there's a Virgin Megastore in NYC and it has a pretty good selection of music there, I found an album there I wouldn't have expected to find in any store. That was the only time I've ever been to NYC though, so I couldn't tell you exactly where it was, sorry. |

I have to say, living in the area, I also want to know where the best music stores are for the next time I travel to the city. I was just there. I found one called Other Music in Manhattan. There were a couple of others in Brooklyn, in the Williamsburg neighborhood. The prices are average (lower than fye at least) and the selection is impressive. There is usually a big sale where you can get some pretty good stuff for ten dollars, usually nothing too obscure though. Personally, I can't say anything bad about where I got Amnesiac for ten dollars  ------------- <font color=white>butts, lol[/COLOR] |
