Am I the only one who has (from today) the overall picture which is wider than the screen of computer?

In other words, in order to see the whole picture, to read every word appearing in the screen I need to move the horizontal bar (or how do you call it in English?) to the right till the end, then back to the left, then (in order to read the next line) once again to the right, then back to the left, and so on... OuchOuchOuchOuchOuch

I have to add: it occurs in the forum, and doesn't occur in bands/artists pages.

Yes, me too, and it's annoying.

Probably the tools will have to return to a corner, that's what is makng the screen wider.

It makes reading a (relatively) long post simply impossible...Unhappy

And (just revealed when adding an emoticon) -- I don't have some emoticon columns. They are at the right end of the window, but the horizontal bar is absent, hence there is no access for the "right-side" emoticons.

I don't like it... either you raise your resolution to 1024 x 768 and turn blind reading the small words or you have to scroll to see last posts, times, and to read longer posts. Annoying. Awful.

You have to maximize the pop up window with the emoticons to see all of them. Apparently the box size is not defaulted so you initially see only half the emoticons.

You don't have a button in the top bar on the right hand side that fits the window to screen? Confused Thats what I meant.

OK, it's possible to resolve the problem of emoticons by maximising the window (thanks!), but this is a minor problem in comparison with the real one (the width of the picture as opposed to the physical width of a screen).

OuchOuchOuch

I am not happy with the new PA lay out in The Forum because every time you have to use the arrows on your keyboard or your computer mouse when you want to read the whole page and you want to read who did the latest posts. In my opinion this is not really a constructive lay-out to battle RSI Ouch .... so please restore the previous lay-out Thumbs%20Up

This layout is completely ok. All you need to do is change your resolution to a bigger one, which I would recommend anyway if you had a screen bigger than 15'' I myself have a 17'' and I use 1152x864 because I make low res games with the AGS and my brother who has 15'' uses even a sharper one, and there really is no sense using a smaller one. I can say, that the layout should not be changed back to what it was only because people like to have DOS/DOS ran computers. If you really do have a '98 or later and a monitor made in the 90's, you'll have no problems showing these forums.

I don't need to do anything, except for, perhaps, leaving this forum.

Yes, I agree, it's no fun either to have to zoom out all the time or to use arrows or other hostile tools Smile . We don't have money to spend on new monitors, you see, because we spend it on hifi-equipment and cd's. Wink

So please restore the original lay-out. Thumbs%20Up

who will pay the bill for the opthometrist? If I change the resolution to 1024 x 768, it's very likely that I'll need glasses in a couple months... so let me know the address so I can send you my bill...
