Quality coffee is usually best black, but sometimes it's nice to frappificate some creamy milk, and make a latte. Espressos are great, and Turkish coffee is like some kind of crazy Up drug.

Yup, I love espresso, currently I have a Columbian blend from Timothy's. I pack as tight as I can. Once I madea huge mug of Espresso, packed so tight the steam broke the metal interior (150$ down the drain).
You South Americans know you're brew!
Anyone else from Canada disgusted by TIm Hortons coffee? They must put heroine in that stuff, I don't see any other reason for such a fan base. Timothy's is the best.

I used to go to an island off Tunisia called Kerkennah - they know how to brew coffee there - they start it about 5 in the morning, boil it & let it cool three times, by the time you come down to breakfast it's ready!
2 or 3 of those & I was buzzing like a hummingbird!

I've heard of a technique like that, you need a very fine blend, I've tried that before, but failed miserably.

Its so beautiful
Great topic mr.rob the plant, great topic!
Coffee is an essential part of my life. I LOVE coffee. I even have a
bumper sticker on my car that says "Drink more coffee: Do stupid things
faster" I've wasted so much money at Starbucks and Caribou (similar to
Starbucks, found in eastern US) that its really disgusting. Between
prog and coffee I go broke.
And let me just make one thing clear: those who put sugar or cream in
their coffee are not ethical human beings. doing such a thing is
tantamount to rape and murder.
Again, round of applause for such a great topic

Oh, and they do put nicotine in Tim Horton's coffee. Not very much, it's just under the legal limit, but that is why it is so addictive.

Coffee with a dark flavor... an african brew, like sumatra or
something. Definitely good for drinking at night. Try it while
listening to either Foxtrot or Wind and Wuthering. Amazing sh*t.

You should try Peruvian Mountain coffee, not like the soft beverage my friends from USA drink. I have two expresso machines, one at home another at the office and drink 3 or four Peruvian expressos in large mugs each day.
Dark and hot with almost no sugar, as someone said before no ice coffee or exotic mixes and of course never decaf.

Maybe I can track some down. Must be somewhere where i can get coffee imported, other than what they have at Timothy's around here. I always have espresso with no sugar, and lately about 2 small posts a day. Gets expensive.
My dad always told me drinking black coffee would put hair on oyur chest. i should have know it was a lie, he drank about 12 cups a day, and had no chest hair whatsoever! Neither do I.

I tried makign this strong coffee by addinga lot of expresso in the botton of a pot, then adding water, and simmering it for 8 hours. It tastes like oil and death! In a good way. I got about 1/8th of a cup by the time it was done. Man it's strong. I don't reccomend it though.

This way you get a very light coffee, called "Guayoyo". The other way is with a coffee maker call "greca", which is a special pot that has a recipient for the water, another recipient for the grind coffe and a third recipient where the liquid coffe appairs, after water boils and pass thru the grind coffe. This way we get espresso coffe.
