Please take a little time to check out new band thE.thinkinG.principlE

Formed late July 2005-East Coast (UK)- Four musicians reminisced about the great ‘experimental’ rock/metal bands of yester-year that helped mould and create many present bands style, including their own musical outlook. It was decided to write material for a new band, with the intention of returning to their experimental metal roots. Music with no boundaries, commercial limits or expectations, heavy & technical yet keeping the essence of a true melodic metal band. thE.thinkinG.principlE was born. From the start thE.thinkinG.principlE agreed that there should be no limits, except that it had to have melody. It didn’t matter how heavy, how mellow, technical or even how simple the songs became as long as the band was 'feeling' it musically. Experimental, melodic, ‘thinking’ metal, with thought provoking lyrics, - melodic vocal style (Watchtower, Psychotic Waltz). Music that would capture people’s attention, imagination & open minds. “The hybrid mutant soundscape created by thE.thinkinG.principlE is instantly recognisable, has groove walking hand in hand with disjointed rhythms, chaos alongside melodic harmonies, confusion leading to control also depth with thought provoking lyrical reflections on human life and emotion.” After recording “Dangerous Thoughts” (Home recorded)-2 track Demo thE.thinkinG.principlE gained positive feedback from the internet / fanzines etc- thE.thinkinG.principlE decided to studio record 3 new songs for release to do the songs justice quality wise. This resulted in the stunning “Slowly forming Sanity”. As musicians thE.thinkinG.principlE have performed at various venues and festivals around the U.K and Europe with such artists as Iron Maiden, Exodus, & more. Highlighted by a performance at Download festival 2004- Donnington- thE.thinkinG.principlE have T.V and video shoot experience. Actively seeking labels, management who are ‘on the same page’ creatively. thinK.contemplatE.believE.evolvE.intensifY.
