Both Ashra and Ash Ra Temple are credited for the 1976 album New Age of Earth.

Yes indeed, and I'm a bit confused, because the album cover clearly states "Ash Ra Tempel", and the band's website clearly states in their bio for 1976 "Seventh Ash Ra Tempel album http://www.ashra.com/disco/1761ne.htm - New Age Of Earth , Manuel's second solo album." .... so why are our reviewers declaring this is an Ashra album and posting their reviews against the Ashra entry?

EDIT:
I should have read that bio further .... New Age Of Earth was originally released in France in 1976 as Ash Ra Tempel. In 1977 it recieved worldwide release on Virgin under the shortened name Ashra.
Both entries could therefore be considered valid. Seems to me a bit odd that we have both 'bands' defined when Ashra is clearly a continuation of Ash Ra Tempel.
So where does that leave us?

The album is closer in style to Ashra and Manuel Goettsching solo (since that's basically what Ashra is), so if we are to keep only one, I'd keep the one under Ashra.

Thanks guys ... Ashra it is then
I have updated the Ashra entry to show that it was originally released as ART. I have also changed the cover pic .... the one we had actually stated Ash Ra Tempel on it so I have changed it for one that says Ashra. Hope that's OK.
I'll PM a friendly Admin to delete the ART entry.
